Each penetration must match the project and tested system
Firestopping is not simply filling an opening. Each penetration must be matched to the wall or floor construction, service type, dimensions, insulation and required fire resistance.
TREE installs firestopping in accordance with project documents and the conditions of the selected system. Statutory inspections are performed by appropriately authorised bodies.

Documentation and preparation before inspection
Problems are easier to avoid when penetrations are identified before the end of the project, while clearances and access can still be coordinated.
Useful quotation inputs are drawings or a penetration schedule, construction data, services, required classification, quantities and programme.
- Cable penetrations and trays
- Metal and plastic pipes
- Mixed service penetrations
- Records and photo documentation within the agreed scope
Frequently asked questions
Can the same product be used for every penetration?
No. The system must match the specific construction, service type, dimensions and required resistance.
What should we send for a quotation?
Drawings or a penetration schedule, wall or floor data, service details, required classification, quantities, location and programme.
Does TREE perform the statutory first inspection?
It should not be assumed that TREE performs it independently. Where agreed, TREE prepares its part of the system and may participate in an inspection performed by an authorised body.
